Death at Stratford rail station

A MAN died under the wheels of a Tube train at Stratford Station yesterday.

Shocked commuters watched in horror as he fell in front of a central London-bound train on the westbound platform at around 3.45pm.Trains were halted for over an hour.

The man had yet to be formally identified, but it is believed he was in his late 20s to early 30s and a resident of Newham.
